Syrian singer and actor, born on February 15, 1946. He is known for Euphrates singing. He presented many songs, and became famous in the Arab world. He started his career in 1958, and was taught by the blind musician Youssef Jassim. He presented many international concerts. He appeared in a number of Syrian series such as Salt and Sugar, and Wake Up. His most popular songs include "Tawali Ya Leila" and "Meeli Ala Meeli".
