A Swiss-born American actress, born in Geneva, Switzerland on September 5, 1989, to a Liberian father, and a Jewish mother of Russian descent. After her birth, the family moved to the United States and she is fluent in English and French, and also knows Hebrew, Spanish and Polish. She is also a model, singer and dancer. She is best known for her role in the series The Vampire Diaries. She made her debut in The Parent Trap (1998). She also appeared in the series Strong Medicine, and Malcolm in the Middle.
