American writer and producer born on 24 April 1973 in Teaneck, New Jersey. He studied filmmaking at New York University. He started his career writing on season 4 of the series Undressed (1999). His works include Lost (2004), Star Trek (2009), The Leftovers (2014), and Watchmen (2019). He has won 3 Emmys; one for Lost and two for Watchmen.
