An Egyptian media presenter, she is the daughter of the late director Fahmy Abdul Hamid and the sister of the TV director Wael Fahmy Abdul Hamid, which helped her get close to the artistic community. Lamiaa studied at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, but she never worked in tourism and began working in the media while she was still in high school through “An Evening with an Artist” program on the ART channel. Then she presented a number of programs, including the "Artistic News Bulletin" and "Beyond the Lights". Until she moved to the Nefertiti channel of the Ministry of Health and presented on its screen a number of medical programs. She's known for the programs "Adam's Apple", "Good Advice", and "Talk from the Heart."
