An English actor who was born in Guildford in 1946, and attended thirteen different schools. He enrolled in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1969, and worked widely in British theater. He is best known for his roles in Anna Karenina (1977), The Rock (1996), and The Mask of Zorro (1998).
