Iraqi actor born in the city of Nasiriyah and then moved with his family to Baghdad. He had an interest in acting since his childhood as he participated in most of his school activities. In the mid 1970s, he joined the Institute of Fine Arts, and after obtaining a diploma in theatrical arts, he decided to continue his academic studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts. After he graduated in 1991, he presented many plays and TV series. He participated in many radio series and Arab festivals. He also acted in theatrical, radio and TV works with the National Band for Acting. He is known for the play Mummy (1993) and the series Love Declaration (2010) and The Elderly (2013). Most of his works were filmed in Damascus, where he has resided since 2006 after he was forced to leave Iraq due to violence.
