Eddie Redmayne is an English actor, model and singer. At age 12, his first job was a small part in Sam Mendes' West End production of "Oliver!" He made his film debut in 2006, after doing a few short spots on British TV shows. Redmayne scored his second role ever in the Robert De Niro directed "The Good Shepherd" (2006). He continued his work in the world of theater, with great success, particularly for his age. In 2010 alone, he won both the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role as well as the Tony Award for his performance in the West End and Broadway productions of the play "Red." He also won the 2011 Critics' Circle Theatre Award for Best Shakespearean Performance for his portrayal of "Richard II" at the Donmar Warehouse in London. He's best known for playing opposite Michelle Williams in "My Week With Marilyn" (2011) and Marius in "Les Miserables" (2012).
