An Iraqi actress, born to artists Fouad Salem and Mai Gamal. She began her career in advertising in Syria, after which she started modeling in fashion shows. She stopped working in advertising to complete her studies at the French Academy of Fashion Design and became a presenter for the the program Fashion House on Al Hurriya TV, in addition to a number of programs, including Lights, Puzzles, and You Know and You Don't Know. Some of her credits include Love Stories (2009), Abu Tubar (2011) and Qais and Layla (2011).
