Dominic Edward Cooper is a British actor. He was born in Greenwich, London in June 2nd, 1978. He graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2000. He started his career in 2001, taking a part in the play “Mother Clap's Molly Mouse”, and in the same year landed a role in the television film “The Gentleman Thief”, and made his feature film debut in “From Hell”. In the next year he appeared in the thriller “Anazapta”. In 2006 he was nominated for Drama Desk Award for his work on the Broadway production of “The History Boys”, and was nominated for the for Most Promising Newcomer (On Screen) award at the 2006 British Independent Film Awards.
