An American actress, born on April 16, 1954 in The Bronx, New York to a Jewish family. She studied at Manhattan's High School of Performing Arts, and then attended Hunter College, where she studied history and drama. She joined The Actors Studio in New York. She became known through her role in the 1982 movie Diner. She also participated in the films Tender Mercies, Sea of Love, Switch, Before Women Had Wings, and Ocean's Thirteen.
