Iranian actor who was born on December 27, 1946 in Shemiran, Tehran, Iran. He completed his middle school studies in Tajrish, north of the capital, Tehran. He wished to become a pilot, but when he failed twice in flight tests, he turned to painting and theater. He held a number of painting exhibitions in Iran and the United States during 1996. His acting career began in the theater with the role of Al-Hallaj and acted in more than thirty plays. He has numerous television, cinematic and theatrical works. His credits include Al-Mukhtar Al-Thaqafi (2010), The Kaaba Is on Fire (2010) and The Lodgers (1987).
