An American director and cinematographer, who is specialized in making documentaries. He is known for If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front (2011), P.O.V. (1988), and Art and Craft (2014). In 2012, his movie If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front (2011) was nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary at the Academy Awards, USA.
