Iranian actress born in 1977 in Mashhad, Iran. She studied mathematics and physics and started acting in 1997. She got directing lessons and acted in cinema, television, and theater. She won the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Born Under Libra (2000) at the Fajr Film Festival. She worked with renowned actors and directors, such as director Bahram Beyzaie. She is known for Born Under Libra (2000) and Killing Mad Dogs (2001).
