An Egyptian lyric poet who was born in the Bulaq district in 1887 in Cairo. He joined the Egyptian radio. The author Mamoun El-Shennawy encouraged him to write, so he wrote dozens of famous songs sung by the most famous singers of the time. He is known for his songs in The Boss (1958) and Ah Ya Lail Ya Zaman (1977).
