A writer and actor, born in New York, USA in 1972. Max Brooks attended Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences, an independent, college preparatory school in Santa Monica, California. He attended Pitzer College as a history major and spent a semester at the University of the Virgin Islands, then he graduated from American University's film school in 1994. He published some books, including The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead in 2003, and World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War in 2006. His most famous work includes the program Saturday Night Live (2001-2003), and the movies Satan Hates You (2010), World War Z (2013), and The Great Wall (2016).
