A French writer and director, born on September 4, 1961, in France. He attended the film school at New York University and has served as Head Instructor of Film at Columbia University, City College of New York, and the College of Visual Arts in a program called On Set With French Cinema (Fall 2003). He is the son of the late physicist Robert Klapisch, president of the Knowledge Sharing Foundation. He has been married to Lola Doillon since 2002 and they have one child. He is known for The Spanish Apartment (2002), Un air de famille (1996), and Little Nothings (1992).
