French actor, author and director, born on September 17, 1931 in Colombière-sur-Europe, Hérault, France. He was a jury member at the 1981 Cannes Film Festival. He won an Oscar in 1963 for the movie Heureux anniversaire. His works include: La pence à ongles, The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and The Unbearable Lightness of Being. He passed away on February 8, 2021 in Paris.
