The pioneer of tap dancing in Egypt and the Egyptian cinema, which was presented by the little girl Fairuz and her sisters Mervat and Nelly, in addition to the dancer Naima Akef in the forties. He learned tap dancing in the circus from Ibrahim El Baghdadi, where Ibrahim was performing acrobatics in the circus. His band had toured many Arab and European countries. He mixed circus performances, acrobatics, and western tap dancing with oriental music. He founded the first school to teach tap dancing in Egypt and the Arab world. Ibrahim and his band participated in a number of Egyptian films, including: Home Boy (1968), and A Wife Without a Man (1969).
