Dori Berenstein is a screenwriter, director and producer, born in Los Angeles, California, United States on October 9, 1960, under the name Dori Ann Berenstein. She is a four-time Tony Award winner, Oliver Award winner, and Emmy Award winner. She married Craig Wasserman, but they divorced. Dory then married Mitchell Canold, with whom she has two children. She is best known for ShowBusiness: The Road to Broadway (2007), Carol Channing: Larger Than Life (2012), Marvin Hamlisch: What He Did for Love (2013), and the short film The Last Blintz (2016).
