Swedish actress Noomi Rapace was born in Hudiksvall in 1979. At the age of five, she moved to Iceland with her mother and stepfather, and only two years later, she started acting in the movie In the Shadow of the Raven. Rapace participated in many roles whether in TV series or movies over the years to follow, but she gained worldwide fame when she played Lisbeth Salander's character, based on a series of novels by the late Steig Larsson. She later worked on several American movies such as Passion, Prometheus, and Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows. |
