An American actor, born in the Bronx, New York, on October 20, 1935. He is the only child of Leon Orbach, a former vaudevillian actor. He studied drama at the University of Illinois and at Northwestern University. He then went to study acting in New York and worked in musicals. He then shifted slowly towards television. He is known for Beauty and the Beast (1991), Chinese Coffee (2000), and Law & Order (1990). He died at age 69 on December 28, 2004, after a battle with prostate cancer.
