Adolf Hitler was an Austrian-born German politician, born in April 20, 1889 in Braunau am Inn, Upper Austria, Austria-Hungary. Hitler began to be well known in January 1933 when he was appointed Chancellor of Germany by the President Hindenburg, and he began to eliminate...Read more opponents of Nazism. After the death of the president in 1934, Hitler ruled Germany and called himself the Leader and Chancellor and his period of reign was called " The Third Reich" (a.k.a Third Empire). During his third year in power, he had invaded most of Europe and had Italy and Japan as powerful allies against the French-British-American-Soviet Alliances. He has seized large areas of the Soviet Union, before the Soviets were able to crush the German army in the Battle of "Stalingrad", which lasted for several months. He wrote a book called "My Struggle". Hitler took his own life in April 30, 1945.
