He met his wife, visual artist and director Sam Taylor-Wood, who is 23 years his senior, when she directed him in "Nowhere Boy." They married in 2012, and took the shared name Taylor-Johnson. He stars in 2012's Oscar-nominated "Anna Karenina" based on Leo Tolstoy's seminal novel.
