A Scottish-British actor, born on 24th June 1961 in Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom. He was educated at the Edinburgh Academy at the University of Aberdeen. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He is best known as Jorah Mormont in the Game of Thrones series. His works include Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Kingdom of Heaven, Resident Evil: Extinction, and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
