Nonso Anozie is an English actor of Nigerian descent. He was born in 1979 in London. In the early 2000's, Anozie achieved acclaim through his roles in stage productions of William Shakespeare plays, playing the title role in King Lear, and winning the Ian Charleson Award in 2004 for his performance of Othello. In film, he is best known for his roles in Atonement (2007), RocknRolla (2008), The Grey (2012), Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2013) and Son of God (2014).
