The Egyptian cinema attracted her, and she sang in the movies Fate Laughs in Mockery (1985) and Lady of Cairo (1990). She was chosen as a Goodwill Ambassador for Arts, Love, and Peace by the UNESCO Institute for Culture and Peace on the occasion of the International Women's Day. Among her most important songs and albums are "Lamma Afakkar Feek" and "Matar Fel Shaware." Aicha also wrote a story called "Fatuma" as well as many poems.
