A Polish actress, born on December 30, 1957, in Tomaszów Lubelski, Poland. She studied acting at Polish National Theatre School, Warsaw, graduating in 1979. She participate in some films at the time, such as Camouflage (1977). In 1982, she immigrated to the United States, where she appeared in the film Gorky Park (1983), and her performance was praised by Roman Polanski. Her other notable work includes The Kiss (1988), Tombstone (1993), and Virus (1999).
