Rafe Spall is a British film and stage actor. He is best known for his leading role in the British Channel 4's "Pete Versus Life" (2010-2011), as well as his roles in "One Day" (2011), "Anonymous" (2011) and "Prometheus" (2012). Spall began his film career with "Beginner's Luck" (2001) and has since then gotten a steady stream of television and film roles. Working predominantly in the British film industry, he's starred in "The Calcium Kid" (2004), the cult classic zombie flick "Shaun of the Dead" (2004), "Kidulthood" (2006), and the hilarious "Hot Fuzz" (2007). His star is on the rise as he's proven time and time again his versatility and depth on screen. He plays a central role in Ang Lee's critically acclaimed epic "Life of Pi" in 2012, and will star in "I Give It a Year" in 2013, about the rocky first year of marriage. |
