Filipino writer, producer, and director, who was born on August 30, 1949 in Manila, Philippines. He grew up in Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, and Panama, before moving to the United States in the 1960s and settling in Atlanta, Georgia. He married actress Cathy Yuzna. His works include Beyond Re-Animator (2003), The Dentist (1996) and Faust (2000).
