An Italian actor, born in Tropea in 1916. Early on in his life, Vallone worked as a journalist for the communist newspaper L'Unità and later became the editorial head of its culture section. He made his film debutin the 1948 movie Bitter Rice, after which he participated in many...Read more movies, such as La garçonnière (1960). In 1961, he headed to Hollywood, participating in the movie El Cid with the star Sophia Loren, while his most prominent role was the movie The Godfather: Part III. Raf married actress Elena Varzi in 1952, and they had three children. He died on October 31, 2002, in Rome.
