A French author, born on February 8, 1828 in Nantes. He is known as the godfather of science fiction. Among his most famous cinematic adaptations are: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Around the World in 80 Days, and Journey to the Center of the Earth. He died on March 24, 1905 in Amiens, Somme, France.
