A German actor, born on October 18, 1926. He is best known for his work with director Werner Herzog on many films, including Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972) and Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979). Kinski began his film career with a small role in the 1948 film Morituri. He also appeared in several European films, such as For A Few Dollars More (1965), a Spaghetti Western film, and Doctor Zhivago (1965). Kinski died on November 23, 1991, of a heart attack in Lagunitas, California, at the age of 65.
