An American actor of Russian-Jewish descent, born on February 20, 1987 in Pennsylvania. He finished high school in 2005, after which he joined the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. He initially appeared in several short films. His notable work includes: Whiplash (2014), Divergent (2014), Insurgent (2015), The Divergent Series: Allegiant (2016), and Only the Brave (2017).
