She started performing as a tap dancer at age 3, and joined dance companies specializing in salsa, folkloric, ballet, modern jazz and hip-hop dance. As a teen, she studied music and voice, was a member of glee club, was voted class valedictorian and then invited to attend the prestigious Hamilton High School for Performing Arts. She got a degree psychology and subsequently opened up her own hypnotherapy practice, after which she got her breakout role on the hit Latin show "Estudio 2" in 2005.
