Gwendoline Christie is a British actress and model who was born on October 28, 1978, in Worthing, Sussex, England. She practiced gymnastics at the earliest age but was forced to abandon the game after a spinal injury. Christie then turned to acting and graduated from the London Drama Center in 2005. She gained worldwide fame for playing the role of Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones. Christie also starred in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, The Zero Theorem, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part ,2 and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
