• A Kuwaiti lyric poet, born in Al-Mirqab in 1929. He married and got nine children. At the beginning of his working life, he held the position of deputy head of the music department...Read more at Kuwait Radio and was appointed head of the department in 1967, after which he headed the car maintenance department at the radio until 1975. He organized his first poem in 1946 and the first lyric poetry he wrote was called Praise the One Who Deserves Peace which was composed and sung by Othman Al-Sayed in 1965. He is known for lyrical texts “Why Is It Impossible for You to Be Tall?, Ask Me about Love composed by Othman El-Sayed. He contributed to 250 songs including sentimental, patriotic, religious, and descriptive song which are broadcast on radio and television. He died on July 18, 1975 at the age of 46, after enriching the Kuwaiti Lyrical Library with original works.
