Alwin H. Kuchler, born in 1965 in Düsseldorf, Germany is a German cinematographer. He began his career as an assistant to a fashion photographer, before he studied cinematography at the National Film and Television School from 1990 to 1994. There he met Scottish filmmaker Lynne...Read more Ramsay, for whom he shot several short films and her award-winning feature film Ratcatcher in 1999. He was nominated for the Best Cinematography award at the European Film Awards twice for his work in Code 46 and Morvern Callar. His latest work was in the 2014 film Divergent.
