American actor and singer born in Cleveland, Ohio on 17 February 1925. He's one of the most renowned theater actors in American history. He's won multiple Emmys and has been nominated for many other awards including an Oscar in 2008 for his role in the film Into the Wild (2007). He has also appeared on Lincoln (2012).
