An Egyptian theater director and critic, born on 14 February 1950. He graduated from the High Institute of Theatrical Arts in 1978 with a degree in drama and theater criticism. He received his postgraduate degree in Theatrical Arts in 1985. He co-founded the Egyptian Theater Club...Read more within the National Theater and edited the magazine Theater Club as well. His directorial debut was the play "Dance of Death" (1980). He was elected a board member of the Actors Syndicate in 1988. Other works of his include the play The Roots. He died on 12 December 1997 after a battle with illness.
