Chinese opera singer and actress, born on December 27, 1921, in Zhejiang, China. She practiced acrobatics and martial arts at Dong'an Theater School. In 1952, she won first prize in the first Chinese folk opera festival. Her works include: Snow Flower and the Secret Fan (2011) and The Purple House (2011). She died on April 19, 2017 in Shanghai.
