An Irish novelist and short story writer, born in Dublin. He gained wide fame for his novel "Dracula", which revolves around an aristocratic vampire in Transylvania. The prequel to his novel "Dracula's Guest", was not published until about 17 years after the novel's publication, that is, two years after Stoker's death. He wrote the books "The Mystery of the Sea" and "Famous Impostors". He also was the stage manager of actor Sir Henry Irving's theater. His credits include Nosferatu (1922) and Horror of Dracula (1958). He died in London on April 20, 1912.
