An Egyptian film and TV critic who was a jury member at several Arab film festivals. She received the State Incentive Award for her book "The Values of Belonging in Egyptian Culture" (2014). She obtained a PhD in Criticism from the Higher Institute of Art Criticism in 2001. She appeared in the film The Great Saint: St. Parsoma the Naked (1991).
