A Scottish actress, born in Aberdeen, Scotland to an artistic family. She is the daughter of singer and actress Fiona Kennedy and granddaughter of singer Calum Kennedy. She traveled to New York after she reached the age of seventeen to receive acting lessons before moving to London. Some of her credits are Philomena (2013) and The Cry (2018).
