An American actress of Malaysian descent, born in Penang, Malaysia. She moved to Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1989. She then studied at William Allen High School in Allentown, and in her teens, she was discovered by television talent agents. Some of her credits are The Joy Luck Club (1993) and Rogue Trader (1999).
