An American actor, singer, songwriter, and producer, born in Gainesville, Florida. Among his notable singles are “American Girl,” “Free Fallin’,” and “Learning to Fly.” He also founded the Traveling Wilburys, with Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, and George Harrison. Some of his credits are The Postman (1997) and Jerry Maguire (1996).
