A Spanish actress, born on June 11, 1994 in Barcelona. She studied at the American School of Barcelona, learning English, along with with Spanish and Catalan. At the age of eleven, director Guillermo del Toro chose her to play the lead role in Pan's Labyrinth, earning praise for her performance, in addition to winning many awards, such as the Goya Award for Best New Actress. Among her most notable films are The New Daughter, Maria i Assou, and Fragile.
