Japanese actor born on 13 June 1920 in Chōshi, Chiba, Japan. He attended Keio University and founded a theater company with his wife, actress Aiko Wasa. His works include The Boy Detectives Club - The Iron Friend, Hiroshima Mon Amour, Woman in the Dunes, and Esupai. He died on 14 September 1995 in Tokyo, Japan.
