At an early age, Acevedo shown an interest in acting, and was encouraged by his parents to perform for...Read more his family in improvised shows. He was a drama major in high school, and after graduating, he enrolled in SUNY Purchase School of Acting. After earning his bachelor, Acevedo followed his classmates and auditioned for the TV series “Oz”, where he subsequently landed a role of a half-crazed gang leader prisoner, and was then promoted to series regular. His other notable credits include the series “Law & Order”, “Band of Brothers”, and the films “The Thin Red Line”, “Invincible”, “Boiler Room” and “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”.
