An English actor, born on June 19, 1966 in Hammersmith, London. He studied English literature at Oxford University, and is known for his roles in Van Helsing (2004), Darkest Hour (2017), and On Chesil Beach (2017). His father is actor-producer Timothy West, and his mother is actress Prunella Scales. He has two children with his partner, writer Laura Wade.
