An English singer, born on November 26, 1990 in Pristina, Kosovo, then moved with her family to the United Kingdom. She attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School. Rita started singing at a young age, and in 2004 she appeared in the British film Spivs. She participated in a television singing contest on BBC, but withdrew after a few episodes, feeling that she was not prepared enough. In 2007, Rita released a song with Craig David called Awkward. Then Rita began singing in nightclubs around London, and in 2009, she moved to the United States after signing on with a major record label, gaining fame after that.
